Incoherent Beings, 2021

Incoherent Beings showcases elements that are inharmonious when together: a rhinoceros next to a broken smoking gas tank and a moving mechanical device—an exposure of both the real and the artificial. The two mechanical objects within the installation show an active state that resembles living entities, autonomous and yet non-living, acting within their own limits. Alongside a motionless Rhinoceros, these elements together highlight an imbalance status, a dissonance that coexists, like the encounters between a parked car by a tree or a bird on a Traffic light. A series of uncoordinated encounters that reference the human-nature dichotomy.
